This is a photo that I took in April 2017 of the normal day-to-day traffic in #Dhaka #Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Without question, it’s the most hectic, unregulated and dangerous street conditions I’ve ever seen, and I get anxious just looking at this photo. I’m not sure if you’ve heard the recent news or not, but students across Dhaka have been protesting and demanding for safer streets after 2 young adults were killed last week by a speeding bus. As a result of the rallies, hundreds of teenagers have been injured, killed or raped in recent days and the Bangladeshi government has done nothing to help them or listen to what they are trying to say. In fact, they blocked the internet and cellular service because they are scared that these disastrous events will be heard around the world.
